Operations Manager Support (m/f/x)

Full-time / permanent / non-tariff

Task

Management of Site Logistics Support operations

• Ensuring the timely processing of support orders – while complying with all occupational safety and compliance requirements.
• Managing difficult and moderately complex problem situations
• Participating in the development and implementation of production guidelines and procedures

Personnel Management, Employees, Communication

• Resource planning
• Conducting regular employee appraisals and performance reviews
• Conducting absence and return-to-work interviews
• Regular communication of information from management and VS leadership to employees
• Continuous employee development
• Creating a trusting and team-building working atmosphere

Occupational Safety

• Monitoring the required occupational safety measures
• Compliance with safety and health prevention regulations, in cooperation with specialist departments (e.g., Engineering, QA, EHS)
• Ensuring the reporting of hazards and near-misses to prevent occupational accidents.

GMP Compliance

• Avoidance or reduction of deviations (RFT)
• Immediate information to the supervisor in case of critical deviations
• Support in the investigation of deviations (RC, adequate CAPAs)
• Support in the timely processing of deviations
• Ensuring excellent "housekeeping" of the operation to be inspection-ready at all times
• If applicable, Head of Manufacturing according to AMWHV as well as checking and releasing GMP documents

Constant optimization of production processes regarding:

• Personnel requirements, production throughput, repairs
• Reduction of losses

Cost Center Responsibility

• Execution of forecast and budget planning and their compliance.
• Support in the preparation of investment proposals and review of economic efficiency

Skills and Experience

• Generally a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a technical or scientific orientation
• At least 7 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnological, or biological production
• 3 years of management experience
• Very good knowledge of c-GMP guidelines
• Business fluent English skills
• Inspection experience FDA (CDER, CBER) and Regierungspräsidium
