Production Manager (m/f/x) (Biologist)

Become part of our team and take on responsibility from day one. For our Value Stream Bulk and Recombinant, we are looking for a committed and strong leadership personality to take responsibility for the Berinert production operation (M300 and M305) and to develop it both technically and organizationally.

Tasks

• Management of a production operation in the Value Stream Bulk/Recombinant Products
• Personnel management in the form of regular employee appraisals, including development and assessment of employees as well as creating a trusting working atmosphere
• Ensuring the timely processing of the production plan – in compliance with all occupational safety and compliance requirements as well as budgeted target specifications
• Participation in the development and implementation of production guidelines and procedures
• Monitoring the required occupational safety measures in compliance with safety and health prevention regulations to prevent occupational accidents
• Ensuring GMP compliance by avoiding or reducing deviations, as well as supporting their investigation and processing
• Ensuring excellent 'housekeeping' of the operation to be inspection-ready at all times
• Optimization of the production process with regard to personnel requirements, production throughput, and yields
• Carrying out forecast and budget planning and ensuring compliance, as well as supporting the creation of investment proposals and reviewing economic efficiency

Skills and Experiences

• Generally a Bachelor's degree with a technical or scientific orientation
• At least 7 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnological, or biological production
• 3 years of management experience
• Very good knowledge of c-GMP guidelines
• Business fluent English skills
• Inspection experience FDA (CDER, CBER) and Regierungspräsidium
• High presence on the shopfloor, clear assumption of responsibility, and active shaping of everyday work.
• Strong communication skills, structured thinking, decisiveness, and a confident appearance.
• Openness to feedback, lived appreciation, and the will for continuous development as a leader.
• Strong interest in production, plants, and processes, as well as enjoyment in working with and for people.
