Resident Engineer

Company Overview CSCE PTE. LTD. is a Singapore-based engineering firm specializing in civil engineering consultancy and project management services. Job Summary The Resident Engineer will lead site technical teams to ensure construction activities meet regulations, approved plans, and client requirements. You will coordinate with engineers, authorities, and contractors to resolve issues, uphold quality and safety, and support timely project completion. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of Technical Supervisors to enforce compliance with statutory regulations, approved drawings, technical specifications, and client requirements. Collaborate with Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities, contractors, and stakeholders to identify and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly. Monitor construction progress and deliver technical guidance to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards. Implement and maintain site supervision, quality assurance, and safety management systems to consistently achieve project standards. Review construction works to detect non-compliance, defects, and technical issues, and enforce corrective actions effectively. Prepare and maintain detailed site inspection records, reports, and technical documentation for project tracking and compliance. Coordinate with project teams to facilitate smooth execution, inspection, testing, and handover of works. Required competencies and certifications Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Singapore. Accredited Resident Engineer (RE) with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).

Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations, technical requirements, and site supervision practices. Effective communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Preferred competencies and qualifications Relevant experience in site supervision, construction, or civil engineering projects.
