Job Description

We are recruiting a Department Projects Director – Tactical Data Links (TDL) to join the Defense & Security Business Unit, within the SOI (Operational Systems and Interoperability) agency, at our Aix-en-Provence site.

The SOI agency designs and deploys cutting-edge tactical data link and military simulation solutions for its French and international clients – industrial and state – actors. Our end users: the armed forces (Army, Air Force, Navy), as well as testing and training centers in the Defense sector, whom you will support daily in their operational missions.

As a member of the Management Committee, you will manage a strategic portfolio of TDL and simulation projects. You will thus coordinate project managers and guarantee the technical, contractual, and financial success of your programs.

Your main missions:

• Ensure the proper execution of projects: compliance with performance, deadlines, and quality.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and the fulfillment of contractual commitments.
• Support, challenge, and grow your project teams by providing your expertise.
• Actively contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities and participating in the drafting of offers and amendments.

In short, you are a key player in the agency's development, a guarantor of operational excellence and sustainable customer relationships.

Proactive, you also possess a keen sense of negotiation, allowing you to preserve the company's interests while respecting long-term customer satisfaction.

Fluent communication in English, both oral and written, is required.

Qualifications

With a technical Master's degree (Bac +5), you have at least 10 years of experience in managing Defense projects, and initial experience in hierarchical management.

You master complex project management methods in an industrial context: planning, financial management, risk analysis, contract management… You are familiar with public contracts and know how to draft contractual or technical documents with rigor, in connection with legal teams. You master system and software engineering processes, and experience in Defense systems with predominant software is a real asset.
