Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Engineering Consultant in the space domain to join the consulting service of the CS GROUP Space Business Unit, which covers strategy, market development, and innovation consulting for players in the space sector.

Your Missions

You will come to strengthen a team spread across several territories in Europe. The position involves the ability to work effectively in a hybrid mode (on-site and remote).

To conduct your missions, you will, if necessary, have the possibility to call upon our pool of experts working in various space domains (Space surveillance, IT infrastructures, cybersecurity, flight dynamics, image analysis, etc.).

You will work in close collaboration with the Sales team, in a logic of commercial coherence and virtuous synergies. As an interface between internal technical experts, management, and potential clients, you will contribute to:

• Identifying and anticipating future market needs
• Enhancing and adapting our offers to ensure the differentiation of our value proposition within the space ecosystem
• Participating in responses to calls for tenders
• Establishing partnerships with key players in the space ecosystem
• Supporting the management decision-making process
• Evaluating the potential market and carrying out strategic and commercial planning

Technical Environment

• Applying operational consulting methods (analysis, diagnosis, implementation, project management, monitoring)
• Conducting end-to-end consulting missions: ability to solve problems, quantitative and qualitative analysis, advanced writing and presentation skills
• Adapting quickly to new environments
• Working autonomously and demonstrating team spirit
• Building an internal and external network thanks to your "relational leadership"

Occasional international travel (mainly day trips) is to be expected.

Qualifications

With a Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or equivalent, you have a confirmed experience of at least 8 years in engineering consulting missions in the space domain.

You are capable of conducting technological and commercial evaluations. You possess an analytical and strategic mind, oriented towards market understanding and the definition of adapted action plans. You have excellent interpersonal skills and communication levels.

Mastery of English, both spoken and written, is indispensable. Mastery of a European language is a plus.
