Waiting Staff / Floor Staff

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Early Mornings), with occasional weekend availability (Saturdays & Sundays)

Location: Main Premises & On-Site / Off-Site Catering Events

Compensation: Competitive Pay Rate + Tips + Daily Meal Allowance

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Waiting / Floor Staff Member to join our team. This role is ideal for an early riser who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. While your primary base will be our main venue during weekday morning service, you will also have the opportunity to work off-site at private events, pop-ups, and catered functions as required.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery: Welcome guests, take food and beverage orders accurately, and serve meals efficiently while ensuring a high standard of hospitality.

Floor Operations: Set up, maintain, and clear tables quickly to support smooth floor flow during peak early morning rushes.

Event & Off-Site Support: Assist with setup, service, and breakdown for off-site catering and special events as needed.

Point of Sale (POS): Process cash and card transactions accurately using our till system.

Daily Preparation: Complete opening duties, station prep, restocking, and deep-cleaning tasks before and after service.

Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with kitchen staff and floor colleagues to ensure prompt order delivery and guest satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, catering, or food service required.

Barista Skills: Barista training or experience with coffee preparation is a strong advantage, though not essential.

Availability: Must be consistently available for early morning starts Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work occasional Saturdays and Sundays.

Adaptability: Comfortable working both in a fixed venue setting and traveling to/working at off-site event locations.

Customer Service Mindset: Excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and a proactive attitude under pressure.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays/equipment for extended periods during shift hours.
