We’re hiring an Animal Husbandry Officer in Cross River State.

Your responsibilities:
- Managing daily livestock operations
- Monitoring animal health, nutrition and welfare
- Implementing proper husbandry practices
- Supervising feeding, breeding and routine care
- Monitoring livestock growth and productivity
- Maintaining accurate animal and production records
- Identifying health or management issues
- Coordinating with veterinary professionals when required
- Supervising farm workers and animal-care activities
- Supporting improvements in livestock productivity
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree/HND in Animal Science, Animal Husbandry or related field
- Relevant experience in livestock management
- Good knowledge of animal nutrition, breeding and welfare
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to supervise teams
- Willingness to work in a hands-on farm environment
