Medical Laboratory Scientist

Your tasks

• Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood, urine, and other specimen analyses.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., chemistry analyzers, rapid test kits, etc.).
• Ensure proper sample collection, labeling, and handling.
• Record and report test results accurately and promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory at all times.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low stock of reagents and consumables.
• Assist with patient follow-ups where necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare staff to ensure efficient service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Valid practicing license (MLSCN).
• Minimum of 1–3 years relevant work experience (preferred).
• Experience working in a clinic or diagnostic laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Good understanding of quality control and safety practices.
