*Break Press Operator Team lead*

Great opportunity! We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent *Break Press Operator. *

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM ? 4 PM 40 hours a week

Flexible to work on weekends and overtime as required Benefits after 3 months probationary period

*Job Responsibilities*

  • Setup and operate manual Break Press
  • Provide expertise, support in all areas of the Break Press including setup and operation including but not limited to; punch press operations, measuring devices, gauges, tooling, material handling and safety
  • Adherence to production specifications
  • Preferred experience with AMADA operating systems
  • Follow all safety practices during machine operations
  • Review drawings of product prior to/during production
  • Ensure Break Press is setup and producing quality parts per spec.
  • Complete quality inspections of finished/in process product to meet product requirements
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on machine(s)

*Required Education, Skills and Qualifications*

  • High school diploma
  • Vocational or technical training an asset
  • 5-7 years Break Press setup/operation experience (AMADA) good to know.
  • Read and interpret blue prints, drawings and other specs.
  • Able to use measuring devices i.e. measuring tape, ruler, calipers
  • Must have problem solving skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Able to stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
