Mechanical & Aerospace Engineer | $20/hr Remote

Position: Pod lead - Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (Terminal Bench Science) Type: Contract Compensation: $15-$20/hr Location: Remote Commitment: 10 40 hours/week Start Date: Immediately Role Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a pod of technical trainers for engineering tasks Review engineering tasks end to end for accuracy and quality Validate tasks involving FEA, CFD, thermodynamics, and flight simulation Ensure tasks reflect authentic mechanical and aerospace engineering workflows Provide technical feedback and track revisions for task approval Onboard trainers and maintain technical documentation and best practices

Requirements

Ph.D., postdoctoral experience, or equivalent in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Fortran, or MATLAB/Octave Hands-on expertise in FEA, CFD, dynamics, or propulsion modeling Strong understanding of engineering simulation and numerical methods Experience reviewing complex technical work and engineering simulations Excellent written communication skills for providing precise feedback Experience mentoring or leading small technical teams
