Position: ML/AI Systems Engineer Type: Contract Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hours/week Role Responsibilities
- Design and build multi-step agentic workflows for reasoning and validation
- Collaborate with researchers to translate proofs into technical specifications
- Develop reusable frameworks and memory systems for AI agents
- Evaluate and enhance agent performance across execution steps
- Optimize workflows for hypothesis generation and technical validation
- Implement architecture frameworks using various orchestration tools
- Create automated pipelines for structured output generation
Requirements
- Proven experience with multi-step agentic systems using orchestration frameworks
- Background in AI/ML applications within STEM fields like Mathematics or Physics
- Advanced proficiency in Python for software development
- Experience in LLM orchestration and tool integration
- Ability to translate complex academic material into modular systems
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with subject-matter experts
- Availability for at least 4 hours a day with PST overlap
