Experienced Automation Engineer M/F

We are recruiting for our Client, an Alsatian industrial SME specializing in the design and manufacture of special-purpose machines, an Automation Engineer M/F on a permanent contract (CDI) to strengthen its Design Office.

The company designs custom technical equipment primarily intended for the agri-food and pharmaceutical industries, with a strong international presence.

Reporting to the Automation Design Office Manager, you will intervene across the entire development and commissioning cycle of industrial equipment.

Your missions

• Design and develop PLC programs, mainly under Siemens TIA Portal;
• Develop supervision interfaces under WinCC Pro / WinCC Unified and participate in industrial IT developments (SQL, JavaScript, C#);
• Perform tests, trials, and fine-tuning of equipment in the workshop, in collaboration with various technical teams;
• Ensure the commissioning of installations at client sites, both in France and internationally;
• Diagnose malfunctions and optimize existing programs and systems;
• Train and support users in the handling of the equipment.
• The position involves regular travel in France and internationally, averaging about 7 days per month.

• Contract: CDI
• Location: Saverne area (67)
• Working time: 39 hours per week
• Remuneration: 35kEUR/40kEUR gross annual, depending on profile
• Travel: approximately 7 days per month - France and international

• Having completed higher education (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in automation, industrial IT, electrical engineering, or equivalent, you ideally have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles.
• You master Siemens PLC programming - TIA Portal
• You are an expert in WinCC Pro and/or WinCC Unified supervision environments and SQL / Microsoft SQL databases, ideally, JavaScript and/or C#.
• Knowledge of Rockwell / Studio 5000 constitutes an additional asset
• Beyond PLC programming, you have a real appetite for industrial IT, supervision, and communicating systems
• Autonomous and rigorous, you enjoy demanding technical environments, teamwork, and solving field problems.
• You have a good level of professional English (written, oral) and are available for national and international travel (approximately 1/3 of the working time)
