ASSISTANT LOGISTICS CONTROLLER M/F

Your tasks

The mission, lasting until November/December 2026, may be extended. The details of the mission are as follows:

• Ensure the reception and compliance of vehicles and raw materials entering the site, by verifying their compliance with internal safety rules and current regulations. To do this, he/she:
• Records the driver's arrival.
• Performs the administrative control of the driver's documents and the road unit according to the Dangerous Goods (TMD) regulations.

• Ensure the execution of shipping transactions for road transport and the issuance of documents to be handed to the driver. To this end, he/she:
• Performs transport and Acrylic Acid control audits.

• Guarantee the compliance control of vehicles and products according to the operating procedure and current legislation. To do this, he/she:
• Controls the cleanliness of tanks and equipment according to the site's quality standards.
• Verifies the presence of required safety equipment according to the product being transported, in relation to the regulations.
• In case of non-compliance, refuses entry to the vehicle and reports the anomaly.
• Issues a loading / unloading slip and directs the driver for the subsequent operations.
• Controls ADR compliance through placarding and labeling.

• Participate in the smooth running of the department (monitoring of consumables, etc.).
• Report any malfunctions encountered in the parking area.

Requirements

Required knowledge level / experience

• Baccalaureate or Bac level in transport and logistics + 1 year of experience.
• Good command of English and/or German.
• Proficiency in office tools and SAP Information Systems.

• Good interpersonal skills and self-control.

• Working in a team and a network.
• Organizing and carrying out actions.

http://The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Baccalaureate or a Bac level in the field of transport and logistics, as well as at least 1 year of experience. A good command of English and/or German is required, as is proficiency in office tools and SAP Information Systems. Skills in interpersonal relations, reactivity, adaptability, priority management, teamwork and networking, as well as organization and conducting actions, are essential to succeed in this position.

We are looking in the Saint-Avold sector for a Controller for the Supply Chain department. The work schedule is in continuous 2x8 (excluding weekends and public holidays), from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
