Tasks

• Operational support for Local Procurement
• Representation of local strategic functions
• Optimization of “Total Cost” for purchased materials and services under the leadership of the Category Manager
• Governance of operational procurement
• RfQ processes, supplier negotiations, and contract award in coordination with the Category Manager and Advanced Procurement Manager
• Procurement interface to SC processes
• Active and independent collaboration in supplier reduction

Profile

• Completed technical or commercial vocational training with further training as a Meister or Techniker
• Professional experience in procurement or production planning
• Reading of drawings
• Knowledge in the application of SAP and MS-Office, especially Excel
• Independent way of working in a team as well as good communication skills
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
