Retail and Yard Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Retail and Yard Assistant to join our busy landscaping retail store. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product enquiries and recommend suitable products for their needs.
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all customers.
- Replenish stock and maintain high standards of store presentation.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking shelves.
- Support the team with day-to-day store operations.
- Operate the till and process customer transactions accurately.
- Help keep the store clean, organized, and safe.
- Work with manufacturing timber products
The Ideal Candidate
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn about our products and assist customers confidently.
- Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential.
- An interest in landscaping, gardening, or outdoor products would be an advantage.
- Experience with DIY or working with timber
