Project Engineer (Construction)

Your tasks

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery while adhering to budgetary constraints. Responsibilities: - Coordinate and supervise construction activities to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule. - Collaborate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to review plans, specifications, and drawings. - Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies on-site. - Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effective solutions. - Identify and resolve any technical issues that arise during the construction phase. - Assist in budget estimation and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. - Conduct site inspections to guarantee work is performed in accordance with specifications and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Proven 8 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction (Buildings / Infrastructure / Civil Works) industry, preferably within the UAE. - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with diverse teams. - Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus. - Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
