Annual Review specialist / Junior Paraplanner

Location: Aylesbury Salary: £38,000–£48,000 depending on experience Working pattern: Hybrid – just 1 day in the office per week - with the option for more if desired

Are you an experienced Wealth Planning Administrator with strong annual review experience, looking to develop your paraplanning skills further?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the full annual review process, working closely with two experienced Advisers while gaining exposure to new business and more complex paraplanning work.

The Company

Our client is an independent financial planning firm based in Aylesbury. This boutique practice works closely with its clients to provide tailored financial planning advice, with a collaborative approach between the Advisers and support team.

You'll be part of a small team, based in a shared office space with other businesses, creating a friendly and sociable working environment.

The Role

This is a varied, start-to-finish position combining Wealth Planning Administration and Paraplanning, with a main focus on annual reviews and suitability report writing .

You'll work closely with two experienced Advisers, taking ownership of the annual review process while developing your technical skills across new business and more complex cases.

  • £38,000–£48,000 salary , depending on experience.
  • Highly flexible hybrid working – just 1 day in the office per week, with the option to attend more often if preferred.
  • 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays , with a further two weeks off between Christmas and New Year.
  • 9am–5pm working hours.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing annual reviews from start to finish, including contacting clients, arranging meetings and managing diaries.
  • Requesting authorities and gathering relevant client and provider information.
  • Researching and analysing information to support ongoing recommendations.
  • Preparing and writing annual review suitability reports.
  • Creating client paperwork and submitting cases for compliance checking.
  • Liaising with providers to implement recommendations, arrange transfers and progress new business.
  • Supporting the Advisers with research and technical work on more complex cases as your experience develops.

What They're Looking For

  • Strong experience managing annual reviews, including writing suitability reports.
  • Working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, or already Diploma-qualified.
  • Good knowledge of pensions, investments and the wider financial planning process.
  • Someone organised and proactive who enjoys taking ownership of their work and building strong client relationships.
  • An interest in developing further paraplanning experience, particularly across new business and more complex technical cases.
