Role Summary We are seeking a Business Process Automation Consultant to provide HQ-level advisory and implementation support on process automation, system integration, and operational optimization across the organization. This role focuses on analysing business workflows, designing automation solutions, and implementing integrations between platforms to improve efficiency and data flow, primarily within and around the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The ideal candidate is experienced in Microsoft-based automation and integration tools and is able to translate business requirements into scalable, well-documented automation and integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory support on business process automation and system integration strategies within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Review existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, integration, simplification, and standardization.
  • Conduct studies and assessments on integration requirements between different platforms, systems, and applications.
  • Design, recommend, and implement integrations between Microsoft 365 and third-party platforms using Power Automate connectors, APIs, or supported integration tools.
  • Design and implement automation workflows using Power Automate, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and other Microsoft 365 services.
  • Evaluate data flow, triggers, dependencies, and exceptions to ensure integrations and automation are reliable and scalable.
  • Optimize and enhance the company’s Microsoft 365 environment to support automation, integration, and efficient collaboration.
  • Work closely with internal & external stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into automation and integration solutions.
  • Recommend productivity, workflow, and integration tools within the Microsoft environment to improve operational efficiency.
  • Document automation workflows, integration logic, dependencies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct periodic reviews of existing automations and integrations and recommend enhancements or refinements.
  • Support automation and integration initiatives across multiple departments to ensure consistency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Advise on software adoption, upgrades, or replacements where automation and integration can improve business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in related role.
  • Strong understanding of business process automation and workflow optimisation principles.
  • Comprehensive experience in business process automation and system integration within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including hands-on use of Power Automate to design, implement, monitor, and document scalable workflows and cross-platform integrations.
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Forms.
  • Experience documenting workflows, integration architecture, and process changes clearly and systematically.
  • Strong ability to analyse and standardise business processes, recommend suitable automation solutions for SMEs, manage multiple initiatives independently, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Equipped with a reliable Windows 11 laptop (recommended 8GB RAM, SSD), stable internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps).
  • Proficient professional communication in English (both written and spoken).
