DevOps Engineer

Number of positions: 1 Location: Glasgow – On-site 5 days per week Contract: Inside IR35 Duration: 9 October 2026 – 31 March 2027 PAYE rate: £385.89 per day inclusive of holiday pay Umbrella equivalent: £447.90 per day

CPL is supporting a client seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the development and optimisation of secure, reliable infrastructure and CI/CD environments.

Key Responsibilities

Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. Support cloud technologies, container orchestration and deployment environments. Improve system security, reliability and scalability. Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across technical teams. Support DevOps best practice and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

Strong commercial DevOps Engineering experience. Strong CI/CD and infrastructure automation knowledge. Experience with cloud technologies and container orchestration. Knowledge of SRE/Observability and incident management. Experience with Configuration & Release Management. Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.
