Assistant Manager/Manager, Facilities Management cum FSM
About the Role Join our team to help create safe, well-maintained and welcoming spaces for everyone. You will oversee daily building operations, work closely with clients and service partners, and support a collaborative site team in delivering reliable facilities and property management services. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily building operations, maintenance and service delivery to meet agreed standards and client requirements.
Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs and improvement works for building systems and facilities.
Monitor the performance of contractors and service providers, including cleaning, security, landscaping and maintenance teams.
Conduct regular inspections, follow up on service issues and coordinate timely corrective actions.
Support compliance with applicable safety requirements, statutory obligations and site procedures.
Manage budgets, expenditure, procurement and service contracts, ensuring appropriate cost control.
Build positive relationships with clients, occupants and stakeholders, responding to feedback with care and professionalism.
Guide and support the site team, encouraging teamwork, knowledge sharing and respectful communication.
Prepare operational reports, maintenance records and recommendations for service improvements.
Support emergency preparedness, incident response, sustainability initiatives and improvements to the occupant experience.
Perform other related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
What You Bring Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Property Management, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
3 - 8 years of experience in facilities, building or property management, with the ability to coordinate site operations and service providers.
Possess Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification with at least 3 years of experience in FSM
Working knowledge of building systems, maintenance planning, contract administration and safety practices.
Familiarity with government procurement procedures and payment processes.
Clear communication, sound judgement and a collaborative approach to resolving issues.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities and follow through on commitments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management systems.
Ability to travel between multiple assigned sites.
