To further strengthen our project leadership and support the development of Transportation in Denmark, we are looking for a Vice President, Head of Projects. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of approximately 15 experienced multidisciplinary project managers, while taking direct responsibility for selected strategic projects. You will also have portfolio responsibility for medium-sized and smaller projects led by project managers across the organisation. You will report to the Senior Vice President, Transportation, in Denmark.

You will play a central role in connecting project delivery, portfolio performance, and strategic priorities. The portfolio comprises approximately 350 projects, from large multidisciplinary projects to smaller single-discipline assignments across key transportation disciplines. As a member of the Transportation leadership team, you will contribute to the strategic and operational development of the business.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Lead and develop a team of multidisciplinary project managers, ensuring clear priorities and high-quality delivery across the portfolio.

Act as project manager on selected strategic projects, with responsibility for scope, schedule, risk, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.

Oversee and develop a portfolio of approximately 350 projects, ensuring governance, resource allocation, risk management, financial control, and profitable delivery.

Improve commercial performance by identifying risks and opportunities early, leading contract and client negotiations, and balancing quality, customer value, and profitability.

Advance project management excellence across Transportation by developing ways of working and promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing across projects and disciplines.

You are committed to developing project managers, strengthening project delivery, and creating long-term value for our customers.

On top of that, you will have:

A degree in civil engineering or other relevant education.

Extensive project management experience from large multidisciplinary infrastructure projects in Denmark.

A commercial mindset and solid understanding of portfolio performance, contracts, negotiations, risk, client relations, and financial results.

Experience developing project management competences and ways of working across teams or portfolios.

Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English.

Work location

The position is based in Lyngby or Aarhus, Denmark, with regular travel across our offices.
