delivery driver

_*Job Summary*_

We are looking to hire Owner-operator drivers with sedans, minivans, or SUVs! Pay Per Delivered pkg.

Route payment is commission-based (you should see the total route payment by the end of the day, with 80% - 85% going to the driver). For example, if the total route payment is $270, the driver receives 80% - 85% of that amount.

Per delivery, the pay ranges from $1.20 to $5 per delivered package.

Payout: Biweekly bank transfer (no tax deducted). The first pay takes 3-4 weeks; thereafter, it occurs every 2nd Friday.

Volume: 80 to 160 packages per route (depending on volume and performance).

Work available: Monday to Sunday.

Routes are rotational and will be assigned accordingly.

Pickup time: between 6 and 8 am; the route must be completed before 9 pm. on the same day.

Permanent/fixed routes are available for those with good performance.

Pickup: Rue Beaulac, Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 1V6

Delivery Area: Montreal & Surroundings, Brossard, Blainville, Longueuil, mirabel, saint-Eustache, Saint-Jérôme, Terrebonne, Repentigny, & Surrounding. *(Downtown Area Pays more than other routes)*

_*Responsibilities*_

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations
• Load and unload cargo.
• Verify delivery orders and ensure accurate documentation of shipments
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps to meet delivery schedules
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or issues
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of delivery vehicles
• Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management when required

_*Skills*_

• Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
• Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for vehicle troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
