Apprenticeship: IT Specialist/Full Stack Web Developer (M/F)

Within the Industries & Energy Unit, CORYS develops and markets INDISS PLUS, its proprietary software platform dedicated to high-fidelity real-time dynamic simulation. This platform is at the heart of the operator training solutions (OTS) and engineering solutions deployed to clients in over 60 countries, across sectors as varied as oil & gas, chemistry, energy, utilities, or even hydrogen.

Around INDISS PLUS, a training session management environment, COMPETENCE PLUS, has been established, allowing operators to access simulators in various contexts - locally on-site or via the cloud. This rapidly expanding solution is constantly evolving and requires new developments and maintenance of existing systems. The mission entrusted to the apprentice consists of participating in maintenance and development missions.

You will join a product team of 8 developers, supervised by an architect and the product manager, with several years of experience in designing software architectures to meet the needs of demanding industrial clients.

Your main missions

Analysis and specification:

Take charge of the existing system to understand its uses and identify evolution needs. Contribute to the definition of functional and technical requirements for new modules.

• Analyze existing session management solutions (on-premise and cloud)
• Collect and formalize needs from stakeholders
• Produce clear and documented specifications

Agile teamwork:

Actively participate in the team's agile rituals and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.

• Participate in weekly task definition and follow-up meetings
• Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines
• Ensure regular reporting and clear communication with the team and business stakeholders

Development:

Design and implement identified evolutions, ensuring their compatibility with different deployment environments. Take charge of complete developments, from analysis to production.

• Develop in PHP with the Symfony framework
• Develop and maintain associated web services
• Write and maintain tests associated with developments
• Use the team's tools: Git, GitLab, Python scripts

Profile sought

Education: Bac +4/5 in computer science or software engineering (engineering school or university master's degree)

Skills:

• Full stack web development
• PHP
• Docker
• Version control with Git and GitLab
• Python scripting
• Knowledge of AWS services (a plus)
• Windows/Linux operating systems
• Rigor, autonomy, and writing skills
• Ease in teamwork and communication

Languages:

• English: technical level (reading documentation, written exchanges)
