About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness within supported housing and residential accommodation settings across London. The successful candidate will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain communal areas, offices, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and other designated spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise surfaces to a high standard.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, and health and safety concerns.
• Follow cleaning schedules and company procedures.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Essential

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• Experience cleaning in residential, hostel, supported housing, healthcare, or social care environments.
• Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning products.
• Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures in the workplace.
• Ability to identify and report maintenance issues.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults or diverse communities.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends if required.
