ski lift operator

The Township of Larder Lake is seeking a ski lift operator.

Ski Hill Hours of Operations: Wednesday, 5pm - 9pm, Friday 5pm - 9pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday 11am - 4pm

*Duties & Responsibilities:*

• Load and unload guests safely on the T-bar lift
• Ensure all safety precautions are followed and inform Supervisor of any conditions that may affect the safety of our patrons
• Check lift tickets and passes for validations
• Maintain accurate Lift Log and Stop Log
• Maintain an orderly and fair flow through of lift riders
• Ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed
• Responsible for snow maintenance (i.e. grooming)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Be friendly, courteous, and informative to all patrons
• Deal with complaints in a pleasant manner and know when to call upon lift supervisor for assistance
• Recognize incidents that require documentation ? fill out appropriate paperwork correctly
• Read and understand company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

*Maximum Qualifications:*

• Mechanically inclined ? with ability to identify mechanical problems.
• Current working knowledge of Health and Safety code.

• WHMIS training.
• Standard First Aid CPR

• Valid G driver's license or skidoo license
• Able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather.
