Sr.Data Centre Design Infrastructure Engineer

Your tasks

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Centre Design Infrastructure Engineer to support regional infrastructure design, optimisation and expansion initiatives with a strong network architecture background and data centre infrastructure strategy expertise.

• Define data centre design standards including rack configurations, power, cooling, cabling, and connectivity to ensure consistent and scalable infrastructure
• Assess existing infrastructure capacity and utilisation to identify optimisation opportunities and support expansion planning
• Develop detailed, costed proposals for data centre upgrades, expansion and modernisation to support business growth
• Review and evaluate network and infrastructure architecture, including routing, switching, redundancy and spine-leaf designs to ensure reliability and performance
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, engineering and vendor teams to deliver integrated end-to-end solutions
• Present clear technical recommendations and business cases to senior stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making

Requirements

• Experience in network architecture, infrastructure design or data centre engineering
• Understanding of routing, switching, connectivity and infrastructure planning principles
• Knowledge of data centre infrastructure components such as UPS, PDU, cooling systems and power distribution
• Familiarity with rack design, structured cabling and network redundancy concepts
• Experience in infrastructure capacity planning, cost analysis and business case development
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills
