Your tasks

Responsible for patching, system administration and vulnerability management across Windows Server and VMware ESXi infrastructure environments.

• Perform system administration of Windows Server and VMware environments.
• Administer Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2019.
• Manage Active Directory, including organisational units (OUs), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), forests and domain configurations.
• Deploy, configure and manage virtual machines using Hyper-V and VMware.
• Perform end-to-end patch and vulnerability management across operating system and ESXi environments.
• Conduct patch assessments, plan deployments and recommend remediation actions.
• Use patch management tools such as BigFix, SCCM or other relevant tools.
• Automate pre-patching and post-patching maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating system and VMware-related issues.
• Apply basic knowledge of RAID technologies, including RAID 0+1, RAID 1 and RAID 5.
• Apply basic knowledge of clustering technologies, including geo-clusters and active/passive multi-node configurations.
• Perform server BIOS and firmware upgrades, monitor system logs and maintain relevant tools.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Windows Server administration, including system maintenance, patch management and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in an SLA-driven enterprise environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented and dynamic working environment.
• Able to support scheduled weekend shifts on a roster basis and provide weekday on-call support when required by operational needs.
