Responsibilities and assignments

• Coordinate the multidisciplinary engineering team to meet simultaneous projects, leading conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering studies and supporting the construction team until project delivery to Operations;
• Plan execution and monitor the established scope and progress of routines, meeting established goals, deadlines, and costs;
• Identify risks to study ways to mitigate impacts and correct actions;
• Ensure the application of engineering best practices to projects, always in accordance with local legislation and Corex standards;
• Manage changes in project scope, project schedule, and engineering costs using appropriate verification techniques, continuously evaluating priorities and resources to ensure alignment with objectives and strategy;
• Develop and monitor detailed engineering execution plans for studies;
• Prepare reports containing the engineering progress of projects;
• Ensure knowledge management and adequate documentation of projects;
• Manage contracted companies and act proactively in the safety management of contractors.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed Higher Education in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related fields;
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Capital Projects;
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Mining Projects;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Coordination or Management positions;
• Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, especially PMI and FEL;
• Advanced English for reading, conversation, and writing.
