Manufacturing Technician

Company Overview Our client is a Singapore-based semiconductor company specializing in advanced substrates for high-performance electronics. They operate a new manufacturing facility offering advanced production technology and career growth opportunities. Job Summary You will operate and maintain production equipment in a high-tech cleanroom environment, perform product and process conversions, troubleshoot issues with root cause analysis, and collaborate with teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Operate production equipment to support daily manufacturing runs and meet production targets Perform product and process conversions following approved parameters to ensure quality and consistency Troubleshoot production issues and conduct basic root cause analysis to minimize downtime Perform precision measurements and manual chemical analysis to maintain product standards Carry out preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure operational reliability Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, chemicals, and machine consumables to support continuous production Train operators on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to maintain compliance and safety Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to resolve line issues and improve processes Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and operational goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Engineering or related field Experience in semiconductor, PCB, or substrate manufacturing environments Basic Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of MES or ERP systems is advantageous Ability to work comfortably in a cleanroom environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) Detail-oriented, responsible, and effective team player
