Assistant Contract Manager (Main Con/Civil)

Location : East Area About this company: Well-established construction company specializing in civil engineering, roadworks, and infrastructure projects. We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Contract Manager to support contract administration, cost control, and compliance, working closely with the project and commercial teams. Can consider a strong Senior QS / Senior Contracts Executive who is ready to step up into this role. Your Responsibilities : Assist in the preparation, review, and management of contracts, subcontracts, and tender documents.

Review contract terms, conditions, and specifications to ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.

Support in drafting and evaluating variation orders, extension of time claims, and other contractual correspondences.

Assist in preparing progress claims, interim payment applications, and final accounts.

Monitor project expenditure, budgets, and cash flow to ensure cost efficiency.

Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors to manage contractual and commercial issues.

Liaise and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients on contractual matters.

Assist in dispute resolution, negotiations, and settlement of contractual claims.

Prepare reports and provide updates to the Contract Manager and senior management.

Ensure timely submission of contractual documents, certificates, and other compliance requirements.

Your Requirements : at least Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Familiar with standard forms of construction contracts (e.g., PSSCOC, SIA) will be added advantage.

Strong knowledge of cost control, contract law, and tender processes.

Meticulous, organized, and able to work under tight timelines.
