Ground Operations Intern

For the Ground Operations department, we are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn intern starting from February 2027. Your role As a Ground Operations Intern, you will become part of the Ground Handling team. You will contribute to the efficient and effective handling of passengers and aircraft within our extensive network. You will work closely with the Ground Operations Coordinators and Manager Ground Operations and play an important role in improving our flight handling processes.

Your responsibilities: Representing our organization and acting as a point of contact for Ground Operations-related matters.

Maintaining contact with external parties such as handlers and passengers.

Supervising the quality of our suppliers' performance in accordance with contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding catering, check-in, gate and platform handling, and cleaning.

Reporting incidents, preparing Handling Irregularity Reports, and making recommendations for process improvements.

Regularly being present at departure flights to monitor processes.

Your work environment You will work both at the airport and at our head office in Badhoevedorp. Together with your colleagues, you will safeguard the quality of our services and ensure that all involved parties, from passengers to internal departments, are provided with accurate information. You will have frequent contact with departments such as Base Coordination, Operation Control catering, Customer Care, and Cabin Operations.

What do we expect from you? You are a second- or third-year student of a relevant HBO program.

You are 18 years or older.

You have experience with relevant computer programs.

You are customer-oriented, flexible, stress-resistant, and possess strong communication skills.

You have a good command of both the Dutch and English languages, both orally and in writing.

You have a problem-solving mindset.

You are willing to work irregular shifts, including weekends and nights.
