DevOps Engineer / Release Manager (m/w/d)

Currently, we are looking for: 1 DevOps Engineer / Release Manager (m/w/d) Working hours:

Part-time employment from 25 h / week or full-time employment Framework working hours Mon - Fri from 08:00 to 17:00

Your tasks:

Release:

• You consolidate release packages in cooperation with SW development, test management, and customer support

• You assist in the preparation of release changes

• You are part of quality assurance and the optimization of release packages

• You support our customers with knowledge transfer and process workflows

• You participate in process optimizations and create guidelines

• You check installation packages and follow installation instructions

• You communicate with customers and IT service providers to secure success factors

Deployment:

• You manage complex environment structures in the area of SW testing and production

• You oversee auto-deployments on internal virtual machines

• Smoke-testing of the installation process and deployments

• You maintain installation logs

• You provide technical support for troubleshooting

• You support our customers during release changes

Ideally, you bring:

• Knowledge in the following areas:

** Common process models within the framework of the SW development process

** Basic administrative knowledge under Microsoft Windows (Services, Eventlog)

** User knowledge in relational databases (SQL)

** Good English skills

• Ideally experience with:

** DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment

** Version control systems (e.g., SVN, Git)

** Experience with rollout automation (e.g., Octopus Deploy)

** Knowledge of a scripting language (PowerShell, Ruby, etc.)
