Jr Market Risk Analyst

In the Risk Management area, you will have the opportunity to interact with different areas, develop a systemic vision, and map and measure different business risks in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities and assignments Update and analyze the databases used by the risk team, reconciling official market data and Company systems (SAP and others) and ensuring that all information provided presents the highest accuracy possible. Calculate risk indicators (VaR, Stress test, Maximum loss) based on the Company's portfolio position using pre-defined statistical models, verifying if the limits established in the Risk Policy are within framework. Assist in the mapping and measurement of products/assets (new and existing) operated by the Copersucar ecosystem, seeking market information and formalizing the understanding of the subject, in order to support the risk team in defining new risk indicators. Prepare studies through research and measurement of risk indicators for physical or financial assets with the objective of providing new information for decision-making for the area's internal clients.

Requirements and qualifications Higher Education in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, and related fields; Experience with database processing and data analysis; Advanced Excel, VBA, SQL, Python; Intermediate English; Knowledge of statistical and econometric models; Knowledge of finance and financial mathematics

Availability to work 4x per week in person at our office located at Av: Nações Unidas 14261.
