As a Data Scientist, you work in an environment where you understand and solve business problems. To do this, you use large amounts of data. You develop solutions for the Delivery & Installation domain and successfully bring them into production. In this way, you help Coolblue make better planning decisions.

What do you do as a Data Scientist Delivery Domain at Coolblue?

Developing, industrializing, and managing data science solutions is an important part of our work. You work with modern methods, technologies, and large amounts of data from various sources. You develop forecasts for capacity, workload, and transports and use SQL to unlock data. You work in a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, data analysts, and analytics engineers. You will be given the space to work and learn independently, with guidance and coaching from experienced fellow Coolblue employees. This way, you make Coolblue a little bit better every day.

• Developing forecasts and models that enable the Delivery & Installation domain to make better planning decisions, for example regarding personnel capacity, workload, and the required number of transports.
• Discussing with stakeholders what they need and collaborating with domain specialists, data analysts, analytics engineers, data scientists, and development teams to arrive at better solutions.
• Developing and improving our own modeling software by writing high-quality, production-ready Python code. In doing so, you ensure well-tested, maintainable, and scalable code and reliable pipelines suitable for use in daily operations.
