As a Cloud Engineer, you and your team ensure a reliable and scalable cloud platform. You automate our environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern tooling. This helps developers bring their applications to production quickly and securely.

What does a Cloud Engineer at Coolblue do?

Together with your team, you build and manage the cloud platform on which all our applications run. You automate as much as possible using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and custom scripts, so our environments remain reliable and scalable. You design and improve deployment pipelines and work closely with development teams on the architecture of new solutions. You actively stay up to date with developments in the field and share your knowledge with fellow Coolblue colleagues.

• Learning about the architectural design of development teams.
• Working with the latest technologies for cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborating closely with developers.
• Keeping up with new developments in cloud infrastructure and applying them right away.
• Exploring new cloud and DevOps technologies.

You recognize yourself in the following

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
• Relevant work experience, for example in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and related tooling.
• A solution-oriented mindset and experience with observability.
• Preferably experience with software development in Python.
