AIRCONDITIONING TECHNICIAN

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including split-type, cooling tower, VRF/VRV, packaged, and centralized air conditioning units. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and prolong equipment life. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out appropriate repairs. Inspect HVAC systems to identify defects, leaks, or potential issues. Replace defective components such as compressors, motors, capacitors, contactors, relays, thermostats, filters, and other HVAC parts. Conduct refrigerant charging, recovery, leak testing, and evacuation following environmental and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Test HVAC systems after installation or repair to verify proper operation. Prepare service reports, maintenance checklists, and documentation of completed work. Ensure compliance with occupational safety procedures and company policies. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and clients regarding service schedules and technical concerns. Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working condition. Respond promptly to emergency service calls when required.

Qualifications/Requirements: Graduate of a Technical/Vocational course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, HVAC Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field. NC II or NC III certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Servicing (RAC) from TESDA is preferred. At least 1–2 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair is an advantage. Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Physically and willing to work in various environments, including elevated and confined spaces. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Must be willing to be assigned on-site at UnionBank Plaza, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Possession of a valid driver's license is an advantage.
