Junior/Pleno Front-End Engineer - Remote

Responsibilities and assignments

✨ YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Deliver end-to-end features, participating in refinement with Product and Design through to production release, always with testing and code review;
• Build and evolve interfaces with Vue 3, TypeScript, Vite, Quasar, and the internal design system;
• Model and consume data via GraphQL, handling large volumes of information, filters, pagination, and loading and error states;
• Develop visualizations and dense tables that make security risks easy to understand and prioritize;
• Reuse and evolve the design system, creating new components only when there is a justified need;
• Write automated tests along with every delivery;
• Take care of performance, accessibility, internationalization, and bundle size in a large-scale SPA;
• Actively participate in code reviews, contributing to the technical evolution of the team;
• Work in partnership with Product, Design, and Backend people to create solutions that solve real problems for software developers.

Requirements and qualifications

👀 IT IS ESSENTIAL TO HAVE

• Knowledge of modern JavaScript and TypeScript;
• Experience with Vue 3 and Composition API or solid experience with React or Angular, with interest in working with Vue;
• Mastery of semantic HTML and CSS, including layout, flexbox, grid, and specificity;
• Experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs and managing asynchronous states;
• Practice in writing and reading automated tests;
• Familiarity with Git and code review workflow;
• Clear written communication to collaborate on PRs, issues, and documentation;
• English for technical reading and writing code, commits, and PRs.

⚡ IT WILL BE A DIFFERENTIATOR

• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client;
• Knowledge of Quasar, Vitest, Pinia, Histoire, or similar tools;
• Experience in creating or maintaining design systems;
• Experience with data-oriented interfaces, dense tables, filters, and visualizations;
• Knowledge of accessibility, internationalization, and performance in large applications;
• Previous contact with application security, including concepts such as ASPM, SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM, CVSS, CWE, and OWASP Top 10.

You will be part of a squad with two Frontend people and will work on a living application, with mature areas and others in constant evolution. The team has a documented design system, automated tests, feature flags, monitoring via Datadog RUM, and mandatory code review.The difference between levels lies in the degree of autonomy:Junior: delivers well-defined tasks with quality, asks for help when necessary, navigates a large codebase, and uses review feedback as learning.Pleno: leads complete features, breaks down deliveries, negotiates scope, anticipates impacts, and supports the development of colleagues.We don't expect you to know the entire stack on the first day, nor to be a security specialist.
