What makes this role different?

This is not standard production work. As a High-Tech Technician, you combine hands-on technical work with problem-solving. You assemble, test and adjust complex technical modules and systems while working with mechanical, electrical and mechatronic components.

You do not need years of experience in the high-tech industry. A solid technical background and the right mindset are more important. This makes the opportunity interesting for technicians from different industries, including automotive, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, maintenance, service and assembly.

You will work in an international technical environment in the Eindhoven region, where quality, precision and structured working methods are important.

What does a typical working day look like?

You start your shift with your team and review the technical work planned for the day. Using technical drawings and work instructions, you start assembling or adjusting a technical module.

Some tasks involve larger mechanical components, while others require very precise work. Once the components are assembled, you perform checks and tests to make sure everything works as intended.

Is a measurement outside the required specification or is a component not working correctly? You investigate the cause. Instead of simply replacing a part, you use your technical knowledge to understand what went wrong and find the right solution, independently or together with your colleagues.
