Sr Process Engineer
At Consultores de Empresas, we are looking for a Sr Process Engineer to join a major company located in Esperanza, Santa Fe, specialized in the development and manufacturing of equipment for the Oil & Gas industry.
The main objective of the position will be to develop basic process engineering for industry projects, providing high-level technical knowledge to strengthen a new business unit. We are looking for a profile with solid experience, capable of actively participating in the design and development of solutions, with the projection to lead the growth of the area in the medium term.
Main responsibilities
- Develop basic process engineering for surface equipment and facilities destined for the Oil & Gas industry.
- Participate from the initial project analysis stage, providing technical criteria for the development of proposals and quotations.
- Perform process simulations using specific tools such as ProMax, Aspen or HYSYS.
- Prepare P&ID diagrams, data sheets, and technical documentation associated with projects.
- Define operation, control, relief, and venting philosophies, ensuring compliance with industry norms and standards.
- Work in a coordinated manner with the Engineering, Commercial, Purchasing, and General Management areas.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the Process Engineer of the team, contributing to the development of the area.
- Propose improvements and drive the growth of the company's internal engineering capacity.
What do we need from you?
- University degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering (preferably).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within Oil & Gas companies, operators, or engineering/EPC companies.
- Solid knowledge in basic process engineering for upstream facilities.
- Proficiency in process simulators such as ProMax, Aspen or HYSYS (mandatory).
- Experience in the preparation of P&ID, data sheets, hydraulics, and application of API and ISA standards.
- Knowledge in gas-liquid separation processes, TEG dehydration, and flow assurance.
- Technical English for the interpretation of documentation and standards.
- Availability to work on-site in Esperanza, Santa Fe.
