Accounting and Treasury Manager

At Consultores de empresas, we are looking for an Accounting and Treasury Manager to work for an important multinational company located in San Nicolás de los Arroyos, province of Buenos Aires.

What will be your main responsibilities?

• Lead the Accounting and Treasury management of the region, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting obligations.
• Supervise the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements, balance sheets, results, and management reports, including variance analysis and management commentary.
• Coordinate external audit processes, as well as the updating and implementation of new accounting regulations and policies.
• Manage regional treasury, including cash flow, payments, collections, investments, financing, and relationships with banking entities.
• Supervise financial risk management and foreign exchange exposure, proposing mitigation strategies and resource optimization.
• Manage budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and service level agreements (SLAs) for internal teams and outsourced providers.
• Ensure the quality, integrity, and updating of accounting information, promoting improvements in processes, controls, and management systems.
• Lead the relationship and coordination with internal areas, group entities, and regional teams, supporting business decisions and strategies.
• Supervise processes linked to intercompany operations, guarantees, inventories, and fixed assets, ensuring their correct recording and control.

Who are we looking for?

• Graduate in Public Accounting or related fields. Postgraduate training related to Finance, Administration, or Business Management, especially an MBA, will be valued.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managerial positions within the Accounting and Treasury areas, in multinational and industrial companies.
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations and principles, with experience in the application of local and international standards.
• Experience in financial analysis, interpretation of accounting statements, variance analysis, and preparation of reports for decision-making.
• Advanced proficiency in English. Knowledge of Portuguese will be valued.
