Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

Location: Diez Employment type(s): Full-time

Purpose and goal of the position For our renowned client company from Diez, we are looking for a Financial Accountant (m/f/d) within the framework of temporary employment:

Your tasks:

• Carrying out ongoing financial accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting
• Monitoring and reconciliation of accounts, provisions, and accruals
• Preparation of VAT advance notifications, statistical reports, and other statutory reports
• Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Preparation and support during tax audits
• Support of the department management in technical and organizational matters
• Contact person for colleagues, customers, and suppliers
• Valuation and posting of tax-related matters (e.g., leasing, provisions, entertainment expenses, travel expenses)
• Participation in the optimization of accounting processes
• Maintenance and further development of ERP and accounting systems

Your profile:

• Successfully completed training in the field of financial accounting
• Several years of professional experience in accounting
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations
• Confident handling of common MS-Office applications
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Goal- and team-oriented, analytical and cross-departmental mindset
• Reliability, quick comprehension, and strong communication skills
