Delivery Driver

We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join a busy distribution operation covering Shropshire. You will be the face of the business on the road, delivering goods safely and on time while providing great service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries across Shropshire safely and on schedule
• Loading and unloading goods, checking deliveries against paperwork
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
• Providing friendly, professional service to customers at every drop
• Keeping accurate delivery records, including digital proof of delivery
• Following road safety, tachograph and company procedures at all times

What Success Looks Like

Deliveries arrive on time and in full, customers are happy, and vehicles are looked after and driven safely.

Person Specification

Experience

• Previous delivery or driving experience is desirable

Skills and Knowledge

• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Good knowledge of the Shropshire area is an advantage
• Able to handle the physical side of the role, including lifting

• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Friendly and customer-focused
• Able to work independently and manage your own route
