Barista

We are looking for a friendly Barista to join our team in Shrewsbury. You will be crafting quality coffees and hot drinks, serving customers with a smile and keeping the counter running smoothly through busy periods.

Whether you are an experienced barista or simply love coffee and want to learn, this is a great opportunity in a welcoming, fast-paced environment. Full-time and part-time hours are available, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffees, teas and other drinks to a consistent standard
• Operate and look after the espresso machine and grinder
• Take orders and handle payments on the till
• Keep the counter and seating area clean and well stocked
• Serve light food and snacks where required
• Follow food hygiene and allergen procedures
• Work quickly and calmly during busy periods
• Give every customer a warm, friendly welcome

What We Are Looking For

• A friendly, professional manner and pride in good service
• Good communication and teamwork
• Reliability and flexibility over shifts, including weekends
• Barista experience is helpful but not essential — full training is provided

What We Offer

• £27,500–£31,000 per year, dependent on experience
