Resident Engineer (M&E)

Job Responsibilities

Carry out construction supervision of construction works as required under the BCA regulations and ensure that the design documentation is safely and accurately implemented on-site.

Responsible for the co-ordination of work on site and ensure construction safety.

Ensure that all mechanical & electrical works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements.

Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision, quality & safety.

Review M&E drawings and relevant contract documents in carrying out the works.

Attend site progress and technical meetings with the project team and Client to resolve site and technical issues.

Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements are updated in a timely manner and properly kept.

Job Requirements

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.

Must be accredited as a Resident Engineer with IES.

Proficient in MS Office applications to facilitate project updates and reports

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Familiar with local codes and regulations
