For a project assignment at one of our customers, we are looking for you as a

Senior Data Center Cabling Consultant (m/f/d).

Tasks:

• Provide on-site support at the data center
• Closely accompany structured cabling installation work performed by external service providers
• Compare the execution against existing criteria catalogs and cabling standards
• Identify deviations and quality gaps in real time
• Identify and flag potential improvements
• Ensure quality throughout the cabling installation work
• Support hands-on activities on the data center floor

Requirements:

• Several years of hands-on experience in the installation and assembly of structured cabling in data center environments
• Practical practitioner background rather than purely theoretical experience
• Additional experience in cable layout and site planning (“Sichtplanung”)
• Solid knowledge of structured cabling standards
• Ability to read and apply technical criteria catalogs
• Strong attention to detail and confidence in addressing quality issues directly with service providers on-site
• Certifications such as DC-Specialist (EN 50600), TIA-942C or similar are advantageous
• Hands-on experience is weighted more heavily than formal certifications
• Very good English skills
