Your tasks

This is your mission Within the InfraVM team, you will work on the design, evolution, integration, and maintenance in operational conditions of the group's virtualization infrastructures and VDI/XRAI solutions.

You will contribute to the definition and implementation of virtualized infrastructure architectures based on the WALLEE solution, ensuring their performance, availability, security, and compliance with group standards.

You will also bring your technical expertise to Nutanix, VMware, and Hyper-V environments, with particular mastery of Nutanix hypervision and hyperconverged architectures.

On the build side

• Design server virtualization infrastructures.
• Define target architectures and technical standards.
• Participate in feasibility studies and technological choices.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of virtualized architectures based on WALLEE.
• Lead the implementation of WALLEE infrastructures.
• Deploy and evolve XRAI platforms.
• Perform migration, upgrade, and platform optimization operations.
• Produce architecture documentation and associated technical documents.
• Coordinate projects with Network, Security, Storage, and Backup teams.

On the run side

• Ensure the maintenance in operational conditions of virtualization infrastructures.
• Provide level 3 technical support on virtualized platforms.
• Administer and integrate Nutanix, VMware, and Microsoft Hyper-V solutions.
• Ensure monitoring of infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and contribute to the resolution of complex incidents.
• Optimize virtualized environments and ensure their compliance with group standards.
• Collaborate with the VDI Tech Lead on virtualization platforms and associated XRAI solutions.
• Maintain and enrich operational documentation.

Requirements

This is your background

• Proven experience in the design, administration, and evolution of virtualization infrastructures.
• Practical experience with Nutanix, VMware, and/or Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
• Mastery of Nutanix hypervision and hyperconverged architectures.
• Experience in the design and deployment of virtualized infrastructures.
• Experience in expert technical support, particularly level 3.
• Experience in migration, upgrade, and infrastructure optimization operations.

• Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV/AOS, Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Nutanix: mastery of Nutanix hypervision and hyperconvergence solutions.
• Infrastructure: design and administration of virtualized infrastructures.
• Storage and backup: knowledge of storage environments and backup solutions.
• Networks: understanding of network infrastructures and their interactions with virtualized environments.
• Availability and performance: high availability, capacity planning, and infrastructure optimization.
• Hardware: expertise in hardware environments, notably DELL, HPE, Cisco, or equivalents.
• VDI/XRAI: deployment, evolution, and maintenance of XRAI platforms.
• Architecture: definition of target architectures, technical standards, and architecture documentation.
• WALLEE: contribution to projects and the deployment of infrastructures based on this solution.
