Functieomschrijving Delivery Driver Albert Heijn Online | Roosendaal Your working day starts at Paardenblok 1 in Roosendaal. Here, you collect the keys to your delivery van, check the route prepared for you and get ready to leave. Once on the road, you follow the navigation to customers throughout Roosendaal and the surrounding area. Every stop brings a new order and a new customer. When you arrive, you select the correct grocery crates from the van and check the order using a handheld scanner. You then carry the groceries to the customer's door and make sure everything is delivered correctly. A friendly approach is an important part of the job. You answer questions when needed, process payments when applicable and take empty crates and returnable packaging back with you. Once the delivery is complete, you continue to your next stop. This role offers more than just driving. You regularly get in and out of the van, carry grocery crates and walk between the vehicle and customers' doors. This keeps you active throughout your shift. After completing all deliveries, you return to the Roosendaal location. You finish your route, return the necessary equipment a

During your first working days, an experienced buddy will help you learn the job. For this position, you need to be available for at least two shifts per week and two Saturdays per month. Is this a physically active job? Yes.
