Designer

Do you want to be part of developing technical solutions in an organization where quality, customer focus, and collaboration are central? We are now looking for a designer who wants to work with both standardized and customized constructions in an international environment.

About the role

In this role, you will become an important part of an engineering team where you are responsible for producing constructions and drawing documentation that meet customer requirements, applicable regulations, and internal quality standards. You will work closely with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure cost-effective and well-thought-out solutions throughout the entire project duration.

Examples of tasks:

• Produce manufacturing documentation such as assembly drawings, detail drawings, and welding instructions.
• Develop and adapt constructions based on customer-specific needs.
• Produce technical specifications, for example, surface treatment and painting documentation.
• Ensure that constructions meet technical requirements, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
• Follow up and ensure that the construction work is carried out according to the project plan.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders through the various phases of the projects.

Who you are

You possess:

• A university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience in design work, preferably within welded products or manufacturing industry.
• Experience with 3D-CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in translating requirements and needs into practical and cost-effective technical solutions.

About the assignment

You will be employed as a consultant at Consensus and work at our customer's site during the first six months. Thereafter, the goal is for the role to transition into a permanent employment with the customer.
