Job Description

At Connells , part of the Connells Group , we’re looking for an experienced Sales Progressor / Estate Agent to join our successful residential sales team in Wolverhampton .

This is a branch-based role, where you’ll play a key part in managing the sales progression process from sale agreed through to exchange and completion , ensuring transactions move forward as smoothly as possible for both buyers and sellers.

Uncapped Commission | Career Progression | Part Time

About the role

As a Sales Progressor , you’ll take ownership of the property sales progression process, working closely with vendors, buyers, solicitors, mortgage lenders, surveyors and other estate agents involved in the chain.

You’ll keep all parties updated throughout the process, identify and resolve issues that could delay a transaction, and work proactively to help sales progress through to exchange and completion .

You’ll also be responsible for providing an excellent level of customer service throughout what can be a complex and important stage of the property journey. As the final point of contact, you’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in handing over the keys to new homeowners.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with experience in estate agency, residential property sales, sales progression or conveyancing who understands the importance of keeping transactions moving and customers informed.

You may be an experienced Estate Agent, Sales Negotiator, Sales Progressor or Conveyancer looking for your next opportunity.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in estate agency, residential sales, sales progression or conveyancing
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple sales and competing priorities
  • Resilience, positivity and a proactive approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email and internet systems
  • Good numerical skills and the ability to understand and manage property transaction information
