Senior Data Scientist

Together with our Business Partner, a leading company in the e-commerce industry, we are looking for a person for the position of Senior Data Scientist.

The project focuses on the development and optimization of scoring mechanisms based on machine learning in the area of sponsored offers, aimed at increasing monetization efficiency and improving the relevance of presented content.

Daily tasks

• Designing ML solution architecture by combining various data sources and signals and creating models adapted to large-scale environments with low latency requirements.
• Creating, training, and developing Machine Learning models used in advertising and ranking systems, including scoring models predicting CTR, CVR, and RoAS.
• Acting as a technical leader in the Data Science area, including ensuring the quality of created models, modeling standards, and the direction of solution development.
• Collaborating with business and engineering teams and translating business goals into specific modeling problems and technical solutions.
• Developing models supporting bidding mechanisms used for making decisions regarding ad delivery and pricing.
• Mentoring and providing substantive support to less experienced Data Scientists in the team.

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in a Data Scientist role. Relevant education or equivalent professional experience in STEM fields (computer science, mathematics, statistics, quantitative methods, physics). Experience using Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI, Vertex Pipelines, and Docker. Experience working with Neural Networks – a mandatory condition! Knowledge of programming languages and libraries: Python, Pandas, NumPy. Experience with Deep Learning frameworks: PyTorch/ TensorFlow. Advanced English language skills (B2). Knowledge of SQL and Google BigQuery. Knowledge of AI/ML and CI/CD.
